Gibrael International Women's Day Cross Border Discussion
Our founder and CEO, Alison Shadrack, was invited to be a keynote speaker at the Gibraltar Israel Chamber of Commerce International Women's Day event.
Alison joined women from across the world for a cross border discussion on innovation.
The event was hosted by Gibrael Chairwoman Ayelet Mamo Shay and the Gibraltar Minister of Equality, Samantha Sacramento opened the event.
Alison commented: "Whilst we shared advice and stories from our own lives and experience, there were many common elements:
1) It's good to fail and make mistakes - so don't stop or not do something for fear of failing. It's an essential part of our growth and development journey.
2) Surround yourself with supportive people whether they are friends, peers or colleagues. It's much harder to grow alone.
3) Even if we have experienced gender bias along our journey, we have navigated around it as we simply don't/refuse to believe that we are anything but equals."
