What the goal was
TG Green Teas were approached by Tesco to become one of the first users of their new foodie crowdfunding platform, BackIt. Created by Sophia Nadur and Hua He, TG Green Teas produce both a chilled and hot green tea range that is super low in sugar but high on taste.
TG asked Adia to provide PR support throughout their BackIt campaign to generate coverage, sample reviews and increase visibility.
What we did
Adia created a series of targeted press releases for the trade, consumer and national press to encourage coverage of their presence on Backit. To accompany this we organised a series of reviews with bloggers and celebrities as well as supporting their social media channels with targeted content to encourage buyers to visit the Backit site.
What was the result?
TG Green teas reached and surpassed their target of £10k They received endorsement from top foodies bloggers and health celebrities who featured their chilled green teas across their social media. National and consumer coverage was also secured as well as relationships formed for future coverage and support.
