What the goal was

Julie wanted to achieve maximum exposure for her brand The Fat Girl’s Guide to Running, gain speaker engagements, and generate sponsored income though her blog. Julie already had a dedicated following but she wanted to increase this further and reach out to a wider audience. She also needed to bring funds into the business to support its further growth.

What we did

Adia sought out and worked with key brands that would work alongside Julie’s Fat Girl’s Guide to Running blog. Approaching them for sponsorship of key areas of the website, reviews and prizes for social media competitions.

We also supported Julie’s latest book launch, her media approaches and raised her profile within a targeted list of publications.

What was the result?

We secured multiple sponsored posts and a six-month sponsorship of a key area of the site which brought in a revenue stream to the business. We also secured multiple speaker events including a key note at the Enterprise Nations Women’s conference.

To further support this, we secured coverage across the top nationals including full page features, radio interviews and consumer coverage.

What they said

Adia have been an incredible support to my business over the last few months, they have been like an extended part of the Too Fat to Run team, which until recently consisted of me and me alone, taking the time to understand the direction of my work and helping to source opportunities for PR that I hadn't originally considered.

The value they have given has been amazing and the ladies in the team are a joy to work with.
